Today I look back on the years I have spent as a mom and realize just how much my mom sacrificed for us. I wish I could do grand wonderful things to thank her for all she has done, and to thank my mother in law for raising such a wonderful son. Alas, all I can do is say thank you and pray they stay around till I can do some grand wonderful thing for them. Now as for what my boys did for me today...... they did not fight. It has been a wonderful peaceful day. And my loving husband ordered a commission from Fred Perry for me, his favorite character, done as a fairy (my favorite thing...)
We had a wonderful weekend at Stanton, met some great people. I got a lot of compliments on the crocheted items, I could wish that more items had sold... but the wind and weather did cause us some issues in setting up. None the less I was able to complete a breast cancer blanket with at black background.. and sold it right as I finished it. There is nothing like the feeling you get when some wonderful soul is willing to stand and chat as you finish a blanket, so that no one else will be able to get it. I have to say that the highlight of the weekend was watching my two boys go out in front of the booth and "peddle" my wares. They were
I am a mother of three, wife of a wonderful husband and a full time worker. I also crochet to relax and in these hard economic times have decided to take mu "hobby" to the next level and try to sell it. I create the designs for baby and toddler blankets. (you tell me the colors you want or the theme of the room and I will create something to go with it.) The price is usually $30 for the baby blankets and $40 for the toddler (or "crib size") blankets. I also create regular afghans in stripes, cubes or diagonal patterns with the colors you select for $40. My current project that was inspired by the wonderful care my father in law received
